MACAW BLUE Acrylic, Spray Paint & Chalk on Canvas | 44" × 30" | 2021

If Red Macaw burns, Macaw Blue glows.

Same dark world. Same urban energy crackling across the surface in spray paint and chalk. Same deep black ground that makes everything placed against it feel luminous, significant, inevitable. And yet this is an entirely different painting — cooler, more mysterious, lit from within by the extraordinary aquamarine and cobalt plumage of a Blue and Gold Macaw rendered at the height of his magnificence.

He perches with complete composure while the world around him pulses with neon green drips, scattered letters, the ghost of a spotlight catching his chest feathers just so. The marks feel different here — slightly more subdued, more considered, as if the bird himself has set the tone and everything else has fallen respectfully into place around him.

Where the Red Macaw commands, the Blue one simply is. Quietly extraordinary. Impossible to look away from.

Together Red Macaw and Macaw Blue form one of the strongest pairs in the Decorum Atelier collection — two paintings that share a world and a sensibility while remaining completely, distinctly themselves. Collect one. Collect both. The wall that holds them both will never need anything else.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping on most works, with shipping costs (when applicable) never exceeding 10% of the piece's price. Large canvases ship rolled in a professional tube; oversized works requiring special packaging may be an exception, and we're happy to provide a quote. International collectors are responsible for any duties and taxes upon arrival.

Can I receive my painting already stretched and framed?

Large works ship rolled by default for safety in transit. If you'd prefer your piece delivered already on stretcher bars, contact us before purchasing for a separate shipping quote at your own expense. If you're interested in framing, reach out to claire@clairepriceartist.com to discuss your vision — we're happy to provide quotes and mockups to help you visualize the finished piece.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the work. Choosing an artwork is a deeply personal experience, and we'll do our best to help place the right piece in your home — if something isn't right, contact us immediately and we'll try to facilitate an exchange or, if necessary, a refund. For returns, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the piece back to us; once it arrives safely, a full refund is issued minus shipping and related expenses.

Is each piece truly one of a kind?

Yes — every original is a unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist on the front and/or back, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity establishing provenance. The artist retains all copyright to the image, and reserves the right to reproduce it as prints or use it in future projects, at her discretion.

Do you take custom commissions?

Occasionally, by inquiry. Commission pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to begin. Contact us to discuss your piece and confirm availability.
