ARABELLA'S ARRIVAL Acrylic, Collage & Pastel on Birch Wood Panel | 30" × 30" | 2026

Some arrivals change everything.

Arabella's Arrival was painted to mark the announcement of a new life — that particular kind of joy that is soft and enormous at the same time. The kind that makes the whole world feel briefly, perfectly suspended.

A magnificent swan rises from still water, wings lifting as if mid-announcement, her feathers luminous with gold, cream and the faintest blush — collage fragments catching the light beneath layers of paint and pastel, giving the surface a richness that shifts as you move around it. The water glows aquamarine and sage, scattered with orbs of soft light like bubbles rising to the surface, or the first moments of something brand new breathing air for the very first time.

There is ceremony here. And tenderness. And the particular stillness that comes just before everything changes.

Painted on a deep birch wood panel — no frame required, the 1⅞" depth gives the work a sculptural, gallery-ready presence straight out of the box.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping on most works, with shipping costs (when applicable) never exceeding 10% of the piece's price. Large canvases ship rolled in a professional tube; oversized works requiring special packaging may be an exception, and we're happy to provide a quote. International collectors are responsible for any duties and taxes upon arrival.

Can I receive my painting already stretched and framed?

Large works ship rolled by default for safety in transit. If you'd prefer your piece delivered already on stretcher bars, contact us before purchasing for a separate shipping quote at your own expense. If you're interested in framing, reach out to claire@clairepriceartist.com to discuss your vision — we're happy to provide quotes and mockups to help you visualize the finished piece.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the work. Choosing an artwork is a deeply personal experience, and we'll do our best to help place the right piece in your home — if something isn't right, contact us immediately and we'll try to facilitate an exchange or, if necessary, a refund. For returns, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the piece back to us; once it arrives safely, a full refund is issued minus shipping and related expenses.

Is each piece truly one of a kind?

Yes — every original is a unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist on the front and/or back, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity establishing provenance. The artist retains all copyright to the image, and reserves the right to reproduce it as prints or use it in future projects, at her discretion.

Do you take custom commissions?

Occasionally, by inquiry. Commission pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to begin. Contact us to discuss your piece and confirm availability.
