MINT SUNDAE Acrylic on Canvas | 36" × 36" | 2026 Delicacies Series

Everything about this is exactly right.

The glass. The mint scoop. The whipped cream piled with the reckless generosity of someone who has never once counted calories and never intends to. The sprinkles. The straw at its perfect diagonal. And that cherry — glossy, red, inevitable — sitting on top of everything like the universe's way of saying yes, and also this.

Behind it all, hot pink. Not blush. Not rose. Hot, uncompromising, joyful pink — the colour of a 1950s diner at its absolute peak, of a Saturday afternoon with nowhere to be, of a painting that has decided the world needs more colour and is doing something about it.

Mint Sundae is the Delicacies Series distilled to its purest form — a single perfect object, rendered with genuine painterly skill and absolute affection, against a background that refuses to be anything less than spectacular. The brushwork in the ice cream is loose and sculptural, the glass rendered with the kind of careful attention that makes it almost impossible not to reach for it.

This is not a painting about ice cream. It is a painting about joy. The ice cream is just how joy looks today.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping on most works, with shipping costs (when applicable) never exceeding 10% of the piece's price. Large canvases ship rolled in a professional tube; oversized works requiring special packaging may be an exception, and we're happy to provide a quote. International collectors are responsible for any duties and taxes upon arrival.

Can I receive my painting already stretched and framed?

Large works ship rolled by default for safety in transit. If you'd prefer your piece delivered already on stretcher bars, contact us before purchasing for a separate shipping quote at your own expense. If you're interested in framing, reach out to claire@clairepriceartist.com to discuss your vision — we're happy to provide quotes and mockups to help you visualize the finished piece.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the work. Choosing an artwork is a deeply personal experience, and we'll do our best to help place the right piece in your home — if something isn't right, contact us immediately and we'll try to facilitate an exchange or, if necessary, a refund. For returns, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the piece back to us; once it arrives safely, a full refund is issued minus shipping and related expenses.

Is each piece truly one of a kind?

Yes — every original is a unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist on the front and/or back, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity establishing provenance. The artist retains all copyright to the image, and reserves the right to reproduce it as prints or use it in future projects, at her discretion.

Do you take custom commissions?

Occasionally, by inquiry. Commission pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to begin. Contact us to discuss your piece and confirm availability.
