INFINITY 28 Acrylic on Canvas | 34" × 52"

She is not looking at us. She is looking at something better.

A woman reclines in a dress of extraordinary complexity — periwinkle blue scattered with orange dots, overlaid with a silver lattice that catches the light like armour designed by someone who understood that beauty and protection are not mutually exclusive. She holds a bloom of deep magenta up to the light — a flower, a brain, a heart, something organic and vivid and worth examining. Behind her the ground blazes warm yellow, orange paint drips punctuating the surface like exclamation marks, a turquoise letter emerging from the background as if the painting itself is trying to say something it hasn't quite decided yet.

The dress is the painting within the painting. Layered, patterned, painted with the kind of sustained attention that turns fabric into landscape — the blue deepening toward purple where it folds, the silver lattice applied with a delicacy that contrasts completely with the expressive, gestural energy of everything surrounding it. She wears it the way someone wears something they chose entirely for themselves.

Infinity 28 has the energy of a painting made at full capacity — everything the artist had, on the canvas, simultaneously. Figurative and abstract, intimate and monumental, controlled and completely alive.

The title is also a declaration. Twenty-eight infinities. Take your pick.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping on most works, with shipping costs (when applicable) never exceeding 10% of the piece's price. Large canvases ship rolled in a professional tube; oversized works requiring special packaging may be an exception, and we're happy to provide a quote. International collectors are responsible for any duties and taxes upon arrival.

Can I receive my painting already stretched and framed?

Large works ship rolled by default for safety in transit. If you'd prefer your piece delivered already on stretcher bars, contact us before purchasing for a separate shipping quote at your own expense. If you're interested in framing, reach out to claire@clairepriceartist.com to discuss your vision — we're happy to provide quotes and mockups to help you visualize the finished piece.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the work. Choosing an artwork is a deeply personal experience, and we'll do our best to help place the right piece in your home — if something isn't right, contact us immediately and we'll try to facilitate an exchange or, if necessary, a refund. For returns, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the piece back to us; once it arrives safely, a full refund is issued minus shipping and related expenses.

Is each piece truly one of a kind?

Yes — every original is a unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist on the front and/or back, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity establishing provenance. The artist retains all copyright to the image, and reserves the right to reproduce it as prints or use it in future projects, at her discretion.

Do you take custom commissions?

Occasionally, by inquiry. Commission pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to begin. Contact us to discuss your piece and confirm availability.
