PINK LOTUS Acrylic on Birch Wood Panel | 30" × 30" | 1⅞" Deep | 2026

It rises from the mud. It always has. It always will.

The lotus has been the symbol of rebirth, of spiritual awakening, of the extraordinary human capacity to grow toward light from the darkest possible ground, for as long as human beings have needed a symbol for that particular truth — which is to say, always. Pink Lotus does not illustrate that symbolism. It embodies it.

A full bloom fills the canvas in every stage simultaneously — bud and flower and seed pod, beginning and fullness and the quiet aftermath of fullness, all present at once in a composition that understands that rebirth is not a linear event but a continuous, overlapping, endlessly recursive one. The blooms are pink and blush and warm gold, their centres glowing with the particular luminosity of something that generates its own light. Around them the deep teal-green of lotus leaves and water creates a ground that is lush and cool and completely alive — the seed pods with their architectural geometry scattered through the composition like small meditations on what comes after the flowering.

The painting is on deep birch wood panel — the solid ground giving the colours a depth and saturation that canvas cannot replicate. The greens are genuinely deep. The pinks genuinely luminous. The whole surface has the quality of something that has been looked at carefully and painted with complete devotion.

Pink Lotus is a painting for a significant moment. A new home. A new chapter. A recovery. A beginning that needed marking with something beautiful and lasting and true.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping on most works, with shipping costs (when applicable) never exceeding 10% of the piece's price. Large canvases ship rolled in a professional tube; oversized works requiring special packaging may be an exception, and we're happy to provide a quote. International collectors are responsible for any duties and taxes upon arrival.

Can I receive my painting already stretched and framed?

Large works ship rolled by default for safety in transit. If you'd prefer your piece delivered already on stretcher bars, contact us before purchasing for a separate shipping quote at your own expense. If you're interested in framing, reach out to claire@clairepriceartist.com to discuss your vision — we're happy to provide quotes and mockups to help you visualize the finished piece.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the work. Choosing an artwork is a deeply personal experience, and we'll do our best to help place the right piece in your home — if something isn't right, contact us immediately and we'll try to facilitate an exchange or, if necessary, a refund. For returns, the client is responsible for the cost of shipping and insuring the piece back to us; once it arrives safely, a full refund is issued minus shipping and related expenses.

Is each piece truly one of a kind?

Yes — every original is a unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist on the front and/or back, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity establishing provenance. The artist retains all copyright to the image, and reserves the right to reproduce it as prints or use it in future projects, at her discretion.

Do you take custom commissions?

Occasionally, by inquiry. Commission pricing is calculated at $4.50 per square inch, with a 50% non-refundable deposit required to begin. Contact us to discuss your piece and confirm availability.
